Health Journalists of Bangladesh (HJB) has formed an executive committee for the next two years.

Russel Ahmed of Jamuna TV has been elected as the president of the committee and Himel Mahbub of DBC News has been elected as the general secretary.

The 15-member executive committee was formed at a hotel in the capital on Saturday.

Others on the committee are Vice President- Nazia Afrin (ATN News), Joint-General Secretary Rashed Limon (somoy TV), Organizing Secretary Kamrul Hasan (Dhaka Tribune), Finance Secretary Falguni Rashid (Ekattar Television), Publicity and Publication Secretary Kamrul Hasan Shishir (Daily) porzobekkhon), Office Secretary Risad Hasan (News 24), Information Technology and Training Secretary Tanvirul Islam (Dhaka Post), Legal Secretary Borhanul Ashekin (Channel 24), Sports and Cultural Secretary Mahmudul Hasan Parvez (Independent TV), International Subject Rahman (NewsBangla24.com).

Besides, the three executive members of the organization are Smriti Mandal (ETV), Muhammad Shafiullah (Banik Barta) and Saiful Masum (Sarakhon.com).
