A notorious militant named Monaim Bhuiyan, a religious extremist, made death threats and ugly status on social media Facebook with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and other important people of the state. He was arrested. Soon after, another religious extremist militant named Kamal Hossain threatened to kill Md. Shah Alom on social media Facebook Messenger. he added that "You are suing an important leader of our organization, you have no right to survive," he said. I will kill you wherever I find you, you are ready to die.
In this regard, journalist Md. Shah Alom said, "I am terrified of filing a case against religious extremist militants. Yesterday, another religious extremist militant named Kamal Hossain threatened to kill me on Facebook Messenger." I am worried about my life.
Jatrabari Police Station OC (Acting) Mazharul Islam said, "I have been informed that I will take action if journalist Shah Alam lodges a complaint."
It is to be noted that the incident has tarnished the reputation of the important person of the state including the Prime Minister and has caused deep resentment among the people in the area. The statement said that the law and order situation in the area was deteriorating due to the incident, which tarnished the image of the state.
