The countrywide 'lockdown' has been extended once again till 16 June. The cabinet division issued a gazette notification in this regard today.
As per the notification, government offices and educational institutions will remain closed without emergency services. Apart from this, everything will remain open on a limited scale.
Restaurants can operate at half capacity from 6am to 10pm.
All tourist spots, resorts, community and entertainment centres will remain closed during this time.
Social, political and religious gatherings will be banned during this period.
Public transport will also operate at half their capacity while maintaining health rules.
The government had earlier extended the Covid-19 restrictions till 6 June midnight to prevent the transmission of the deadly virus.
