Jasim Uddin Chishti, owner of e-commerce company Dhamaka Shopping.com (Inveriant Telecom Bangladesh Limited) wants to return the money to the seller and the customer. Jasim Uddin Chishti, owner of Dhamaka Shopping.com (Invariant Telecom Bangladesh Limited) said, "I want to refund the money to the customers and sellers. How can I freeze my bank account? How can I refund the money? Who requested. He cried and said, "My intention is not bad, if the intention is bad, I would close Dhamaka Shopping.com." My self-family lives in the United States. I could have gone into hiding if I had wanted to. Instead, I want to do business. Help me, stay by my side.
Meanwhile, Dhamaka Shopping.com has over a thousand employees. None of them have been receiving salaries since last June. In this regard, owner Jasim Uddin Chishti said, "All my bank accounts have been frozen. How will I pay? Request to unfreeze my accounts. Inshallah, I will pay all the money to the customer sellers and officers and employees." The e-commerce platform Dhamaka has collected Tk 603 crore from customers through offers of various products and sale of virtual signature cards. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police has come to know that Jasim Uddin Chishti, the head and managing director (MD) of the company and others have committed a crime under the Money Laundering Act by transferring Tk 116.06 crore to another institution's bank.

On the basis of this information, CID filed a case against five people, including Jasim Uddin, owner of Invariant Telecom Bangladesh Limited, and three of their companies under the Money Laundering Act at Banani Police Station last month. In this regard, he said, not money laundering, I have circulated money in different companies in accordance with the law, inshallah, I will prove it with all kinds of paper. Meanwhile, it is learned that in addition to Dhamaka Shopping.com, they have several other businesses, such as Invariant Telecom Bangladesh Limited, Microtrade Food and Beverage Limited and Microtrade Isix Limited.

In this regard, Jahangir Alam, President of Cellar Association of Invariant Telecom Bangladesh Limited, said, “As a young businessman, we have done business with this organization by selling the last goods, taking loans from relatives and from banks. Now I have become a street beggar and destitute. We are requesting the concerned authorities to take appropriate decision in this regard including opening the bank account of Dhamaka Shopping.com considering the humanitarian aspect of the seller and three lakh customers. Zahidur Islam, Mass Communication Coordinator of Dhamaka Shopping.com Sellers Association, said, “As a seller or merchant of e-commerce company Dhamaka Shopping.com, about 650 SME entrepreneurs have been delivering products under Dhamaka Shopping.com's guidelines and contracts since December 2020.

"Unfortunately, they have frozen all their accounts and are unable to pay our dues," he said. '
Meanwhile, when multiple customers of Dhamaka Shopping.com were contacted, they said, "We want to give more time. If Dhamaka is allowed to do business, inshallah we will get our money back." They said the government's intention was to take into account the humanitarian aspect of the three lakh customers and open the bank account of Dhamaka Shopping.com and make a special request to the concerned authorities to take appropriate decision in this regard.

Dhamaka Shopping.com has more than 3 lakh subscribers. Mobiles, TVs, refrigerators, motorbikes, household goods and furniture were sold in various offers. The various offers of Dhamaka Shopping.com are 20 to 30 percent discount on signature cards, up to 50 percent discount on Dhamaka Night, 20 to 30 percent discount on regular.
