JNU IHC alumni association gets new committee

Shafayat Ullah have been elected as president and secretary general Oliar Rahman Murad of  Islamic history and culture Jagannath University Alumni Association's new committee.

For the first time, the committee of the Alumni Association of the Department of Islamic History and Culture of Jagannath University has been formed. The former student of 2004-2005 academic year was elected as the president. the general secretary of the academic year 2007-2008. 

The new committee was announced on Sunday (January 15). Although there was a reunion of former students in 2016, the Alumni Association of the Department of Islamic History and Culture of Jagannath University could not officially start its journey until now due to various reasons including the corona virus.

However, on October 22, the convening committee of the association was announced through a colorful arrangement consisting of former students of the department. Later CVs are invited from those interested for the committee. From there the full committee was announced after the scrutiny.

11 Vice-Presidents, 5 Joint General Secretaries, 2 Organizing Secretaries have been elected in the committee.

Besides, Treasurer, Office Secretary, Assistant Office Secretary, Publication and Public Relations Secretary, Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Student Affairs Secretary and Associate Student Affairs Secretary, Religion Affairs Secretary, Entertainment Secretary have been nominated. Besides, 26 people have been made members.
