Mahbub Kabir Milon, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Railways has been made Officer OSD (On Special Duty).
A circular signed by Deputy Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry Muhammad Abdul Latif on Thursday ordered his transfer to the Ministry of Public Administration. Mahbub Kabir shared the news on his Facebook page.
Mahbub Kabir Milon has been working as a member of the Safe Food Authority since August 2016.
He last served as the acting chairman from December 31 last year. From there he was transferred to the Ministry of Railways.
Earlier, while he was the acting chairman of the Safe Food Authority, he gained a good reputation by recruiting manpower with transparency.
Mahbub Kabir said on his Facebook that he did not let his family and relatives know about the recruitment of manpower under him.
He also announced the recruitment of a large number of railways this year without any corruption. He was also to be appointed next year. He was always vocal on social sites and in reality against many irregularities including these changes.
