New committee of Rangpur Division Reporters Forum

A new executive committee of the Rangpur Division Reporters Forum (RDRF) in Dhaka has been formed. The committee consists of President Syed Atiq (Citynews Dhaka) and General Secretary Apel Shahriar (RTV). The committee was announced on Friday (July 16).

The new committee comprises vice-presidents Tamjidul Islam (NTV) and MA Baten Biplob (Asian TV), joint editor Akhtaruzzaman Khan Rocky (prokosli news), finance editor Ajmain Ziko (news24), organizing secretary Ujjal Hossain Jisan (Sarabangla.net). Publicity and Publication Secretary Allama Iqbal Anik (GTV), Information and Technology Affairs Secretary Zahida Parvez Chhanda (Daily Sangbad), Law and Welfare Affairs Secretary Faruk Alam (RTV Online).

Ruhul Amin (Bhorer Kagaz), Roknuzzaman (Banglavision), Jasim Uddin (Dhaka Post) and Tahsina Jesse (DBC) were also elected as active members.

RDRF is an organization of reporters working in different media in Dhaka from eight districts of Rangpur region. The number of members of the organization is about 200.

The official journey of RDRF started in 2019 by cutting a cake at Hotel Radisson in the capital. The members of the organization have also done various things during the crisis of Corona. With the determination to do more in the coming days, the organization has announced a new 13-member full committee on its one-year anniversary. At the same time, the new committee wants to do something good for the people of eight districts of Rangpur region.
